No protest needed in Huntsville.

The death of Kenneth Foster previously scheduled for today was commuted by Governor Perry to life in prison at noon, shortly following the last minute 6-1 recommendation by the Board of Pardons and Paroles.

5:30-6:20 PM - Execution vigil The death of Kenneth Foster is scheduled. This is the third of three back-to-back executions scheduled in Texas for this week: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. This case involves the terrible law of parties. Another man has already been executed for the murder in this case! Please see http://www.freekenneth.com There will be a vigil from at St. Anne's Catholic Community, corner of Shepherd and Westheimer. Parking is available off Westheimer just west of Shepherd. Please participate and bring your friends with you. You may call Burnham Terrell at 713-921-0948 until 5:00 on Tuesday to find out if a stay as been granted. If you can travel and there is no stay, meet at the Walls Unit in Huntsville after 5:00 PM to protest this travesty.
