Come to PAA meeting to discuss misrepresentation in HISD Dist. 9 race

Right at the top of a 8 1/2 by 11 glossy, massive, tri-fold mai-out to the voters in HISD District 9, Larry Marshall has written:

Notice the date?  That's over four years ago!  The Chronicle, for what it's worth, endorsed Daisy Maura in the run off election this Saturday back on Sunday, November 10, 2005.

 

This is typical of Marshall who is running a big money campaign with contributions from corporations that contract with HISD and himself is a consultant with CEP, a company which contracts with HISD.

 

Daisy Maura, with over 45 years experience as a teacher and school principal, managed to make the run off spending less than $20,000 collected from small contributors.  Marshall's massive mailout to voters in HISD Dist 9 will mislead people and could cost Daisy the election.  She needs volunteers for phone banking and card pushing to off set this,
