CLT late:

Discussion about freeway blogging. City council hearing. Proposal that PAA communicate to community what it’s doing on freeways; indicate fight with Berry;

Report on Strawberry Park, Pasadena Tex. 4th Anniversary Memorial of Iraq Invasion and lives lost. Received well in Pasadena, received front page photo in HouChron; note done without City approval, and no apparent objection

Report on 4-9 Impeachment Forum: full house (approx. 500), different liberal/progressive groups represented; question about length - noted we lost some folk after break despite Cindy Sheehan talking after break; no corporate media present; many familiar faces but also many young folk present; from technical standpoint pushed sound equipment to limit for size and venue (auditorium); charge more money given affluent composition of crowd; wonderful to see old faces; evolution of Cindy Sheehan from grieving mother to revolutionary; encouraged by response to & participation in forum; more exciting than anything expected; grateful costs covered by attendance; planned some kind of action that participants could practice doing; post card distribution issue; time issue having an assigned person before hand; change registration set up; request no music too long and music did not add enough to warrant time; no announcements during break or after Cindy spoke; thrilled to see bumper sticker in Spanish; Ivan hero of event; to impeach this admin, need to enlist millions; have more debate to hash out differences; different groups worked together well; disconcerted by equivocation on part of some speakers about viability of impeachment; appeared that outreach was good; good to have city council; publish more on indymedia during lead up to event; did not have sufficient volunteers the day of the event; did not have enough people who came early; need someone to type up sign-ins etc;

Stop funding invasion/occupation
