Discussion about freeway blogging. Bob Carter recounted recent experience with cops. Don Cook has all the signs except for one of the banners Hassan made for us. 9-11Truth.org crew participated and perhaps they have the banner.
Impeachment Hearing: Lea Mesa relays the request that a coalition of groups “Impeach ‘07” was sufficiently impressed with our April 9 Impeachment Forum that it has requested we hold in Houston an Impeachment Hearing because Judiciary Committee member Sheila Jackson-Lee represents district in Houston.
Discussion about other actions we can take e.g.
- Talk to congress;
- Meet with SJ-L;
- Do anything and everything we think will move the us closer to impeachment and/or criminal war crime indictments;
- Motion to create study group that will extend exposure of the videos and plan an event for end of May beginning of June re: citizen’s tribunal and meet with SJ-L, press and present resolution and re: this event – Passed by acclamation;
- Petition to City Council
- expand exposure of freeway blogging response e.g. send link to legislature;
- Willie will create a data base with addresses/email to send video of Houston’s FWB efforts;
- Concentrate efforts on reaching out to folk who haven’t come to impeachment forums e.g. schools, teachers;
- Combine impeachment hearing and media meeting;
- Hold a meeting at Havens with reps from local groups to plan impeachment
- Issue series of press releases i.e. these groups are meeting to push impeachment forward, corral Ron Paul’s participation and issue press release, 3rd press release re: 15 yo teenager who’s spearheading events
