Why is there a dog show on the PAA calender?

Is it a fundraiser for the Braeswood Democrats or are the Braeswood Democrats so
shallow/superficial as to think that a dog show is somehow "progressive"? If it's a fundraiser, it
should probably explicitly say "fundraiser", just the same, it still looks like the kind of
foppish/aristocratic event that would be listed on a Republican calender. I mean, I wouldn't add a
car show or NASCAR race to the PAA calender...so what's up wi'da dog show?
