Weblinks ordering of entries

I wish I had more control over the order in which the weblinks entries appear on the page.

As it is, the links (nodes?) list in (1) chronological order of their submission date/time.

I'd like to see a couple of options added:
2) order them alphabetically by title, or
3) administrator can order them manually, and
let me choose which one it will use.

3) would allow me to make a list like:

Organic Consumers Assoc
PayWatch
The Peace Company
Responsible Consumption Values-based spending
Spending Liberally
Smart Growth
The Sustainable Village
2005 Blue
Urban Harvest
Vegetarian Society
___National
___Houston
Veggie Oil Fuel Co-op
...."

Wherein,
"The Peace Company" is listed among "P"s although it's true name is "THE Peace Company" and "The Sustainable Village" is alphabetical under the "S"s & it's not neccessary to tell future contributors to leave out "The..."
"2005 Blue" can be listed under "T" for "Two Thousand..."
although I guess the sublistings under "Vegetarian Society" can be listed in the "body" section.
