Schechter / Beyond An Encyclopedia: What's Next For Wikimania? / Oct 13

Fascinating article on the history and structure of Wikipedia (which I use
almost daily at work) that gives me hope for a future with many, splendid,
community-forged projects. And note the description of the first annual
Wikipedian conference held in Germany last week at a youth hostel, with more
than 400 participants from 52 countries, representing every continent except
Antarctica. It reads like an extraordinary social forum!
